| OUR HISTORY
Founded in 1992, Clendenen Vineyard Management, LLC is a small, Latino family-owned company nestled in the picturesque landscape of Healdsburg, CA. With over 30 years of industry experience, we are dedicated to providing exceptional and personalized vineyard management services, deeply rooted in a legacy of hard work, expertise, and a profound connection to the land.
Our journey began when John Clendenen, impressed by the remarkable work ethic and extensive knowledge of Nicolas Cornejo, invited him to join forces and establish Clendenen Vineyard Management. Their partnership, born at Preston Farm and Winery, flourished due to Nicolas’s worth ethic, expertise, and precision. As the first employee and later co-owner, Nicolas played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s success.
In 2017, when John and Kathy Clendenen retired, the Cornejo family took the helm. Nicolas, alongside his wife Marisela and their son Sirilo, transitioned into sole ownership, infusing the business with renewed vigor and a commitment to excellence. Nicolas manages the vineyard and labor aspects, ensuring that our operations maintain the highest standards. Marisela oversees the administrative side with meticulous care, while Sirilo brings a fresh perspective to managing the business operations, driving growth and innovation
